Came here excited to try out this gym, with a 5 day pass. WAS considering transferring from Planet Fitness. Alex was extremely rude with me and pushy, I understand the sales aspect, I've worked in sales for years, he was just plain disrespectful, they obviously only care about money and not the customer experience. There is absolutely no reason for a representative of any company to talk to a potential customer that way. The way LA Fitness allows their employees to talk to people is disgusting. I left my unactivated 5 day pass on his desk. There's not a chance I will ever be a member of LA Fitness
P.S. You guys may want to have a talk with your rep about building rapport and building value, he might get more sign ups that way instead of just throwing insults in someone's face thinking he can strong arm that person into dropping money without even seeing the gym or knowing what services are offered.
**Update 9/25/18**
Was contacted by Karen with Member Services about my complaint, just over a week ago, they told me they have contacted their VP about this matter for investigation. I allowed a week to pass, I reached back out to them since I had yet to receive an update, I asked if they have finished their investigation and I haven't heard back from LA Fitness at all.
