Ismael and Fabiano are two world class coaches. I recommend this gym to anyone who wants to learn how to defend themselves
My kids and I train here. I have seen a huge transformation in my kid's confidence and demenor since starting. When we walked through the doors a little over a year ago, we didn't realize this place would be like another home for us. The coach's professional accolades speak for themselves as far as knowledge, but they are excellent teachers for kids and adults. They make class fun and enjoyable and also cater to your personal goals (fitness, self defense or training to be a world champion).
This is week 4 of jiu jitsu, soon to be muay thai as well for me. This place has the best coaches and the people who attend are amazing as well. Extremely helpful and supportive in more than just training but life as well. These 4 weeks have done more for my mental than anything else in the last couple years. Cant wait for class tomorrow! My daughters, 10 and 7 joined the class on Aug. of 2017. Since then they have enjoyed the class and the friendly coaches. My goal of this class is for them to be strong and later to protect themselves. As of now, they become quite stronger and it helps them to achieve higher academic goals at school. Their abilities of focus have been increased and my first one does not doze off at afternoon classes any more thanks to the strong body. And no more bloody noses due to the weak stamina.
Also they want for me to add the comments on the coaches. Coach Fabiano is very friendly and patient. I have never seen any unpleasant moments of disciplining and training all the kids. He never raises his voice which I had expected subconsciously before this class.
Coach Joe recently joined the club and he is vibrant which is good for the kids. My little one told me that he has trained the kids vigorously (of course with fun), which makes their bodies stronger and healthier.
Coach Fabiano says to kids and parents "Hard work beats talent when talent does not work hard" which sums up the expecting attitudes from the kids. I want my kids to have this attitude whatever they do in their lives.
Over all, my kids want to give 100 stars. Well we settle for 5 stars for now. I believe that caregivers' and kids' commitments will help the success of whatever goals they set from this class.
My son Robert "the golden boy" Ruiz was coach Fabiano's first student when he first open up! We are still part of his gym, and have seen it grow from one student to over 100 combined in all levels! Fabiano's teaching is one of the best that I have seen! I would recommend this gym to everyone if your are seeking strength, fitness, increasing your confidence, or are at the competition side, would definitely recommend! Fabiano and his staff are always giving 100% to improve your skills!

I've been training with coach fabiano for over 2 months now and he has taken my exponentially higher than I would have imagined. He is very informative in his training and truly a great instructor. I would recommend anyone who wants to lean muay thai to come check this gym out.

You're not going to find someone with the knowledge and experience of coach Fabiano without breaking the bank for their service. He is also extremely genuine and truly cares about his students. Strongly suggest him over any other gym in phoenix.
My two kids have been taking Muay Thai classes at TGT for several months. They both love it! Fabiano is a great teacher - he is always patient, positive, and encouraging while still holding the kids accountable for their progress and behavior. The classes are never the same from day to day. He changes things up which holds the kids' interest. This is a challenging sport so my kids are not only learning skills and strategy, they are building their fitness level, and Fabiano finds fun ways to do that. I am thoroughly impressed with this gym and recommend it to anyone, child or adult, who has an interest in Muay Thai or Jiu-Jitsu. Although my kids have not taken the Jiu-Jitsu classes (yet), I have observed those classes and there is some great training on that side as well. We are fortunate to have world champs in both sports, who are also great teachers, right here in Glendale.
