Smells and dirty all the time they have fans that dont work so it is hot and uncomfortable. The staff is not helpful when you tell them the heat is on at certain times too.
I am a fairly new member at this location but have been with EOS for 5 years. Tim is the manager and he goes above and beyond. He engaged with my workout partner and me. He remembered us, complemented us, and offered his help if we needed. He's always cleaning and keeping the gym tip top. He was even touching up the paint around the paper towel dispenser yesterday!!! He's a real class act!!! Nigel at my home location (51st and Olive) needs to take some serious notes from Tim.
This gym is the best. Love the guys and gals that work here. Very clean and well organized gym too. Upkeep is great. They're constantly investing to improve. Will be a long term member
The front desk people in the morning are very professional the young man say good morning to everybody. and each time I ask him a question he stop everything and answers my questions I really don't know his name but nice guys
I keep seeing hot chicks
Stop and read this before you give this company any money!!!! My wife goes to this gym and it is a nice gym for $16 per month. The other day she asked how much a personal trainer would cost and they set her down and told her that they could give her 18 sessions for $20 and after that it would be $188 every two weeks. They asked her to push a button to accept and she questioned if she was going to sign a contract and they lied to her and said no that she was not but later on we found out yes she did sign a contract. My wife is from Los Mochis and English is not her first language. So she fully didn't understand what was going on even after she asked if she signed a contract with the guy flat-out lied and said no. They will not release us from the contract they going to make us pay $376 a month so do not trust them they will take your money.
This gym has everything you could want. The members are helpful and the front desk staff are super accommodating with day passes. I come here every year when I'm in town. Yea, it's busy after work (4-7) but so is every other gym in America. I'll be back next year, too.
Update - still coming here - year over year - still busy, but the members are all open to you "working in" with them.
This is a great place to get in shape for a little money. the equipment is newer.. and they have good classes. Their motto is better gym better price. My wife and i agree. it can be a little crowded but if you go off hours it's great! They are opening more locations.
I joined the gym 2 months ago with my daughter . Had a great experience with signing up for the membership and personal training. Ron, my personal trainer is great to work with. He challenges and encourages me at the same time .
I like this location best but it is crowded quite often. Childcare is great never have issues, staff is nice no problems there, and they bill what they say. This location could definitely use an update I'm sure it's worth it. Maybe buy the suites next door to make it larger to accommodate more people. Something's gotta be worked out with the parking, it's terrible.

I don't normally write reviews, but my experience with this gym has been lackluster. The machines that are broken haven't been fixed since I started. I don't even know how a barbell from the bench press has been missing for over a week. No one re-racks their weights, it's always a hunt and find for weights and dumbbells. The facility is always a mess. Also, it's way too overcrowded. After reading the other reviews, I can look forward to a horrific time trying to cancel my membership.

Went awhile back for a test trial. the Ppl in front were rude. So i left. i went in today morning-7/12/18- and the girl was friendly. i did a quick workout. Semi packed (730am). Clean restroom/lockers & gym. I don't stand around gossiping nor sit on equipment on my phone posting on social media ....ppl that do that need some class. if you go in & get out to work out...this gym offers that, just avoid rush hours...
THEY DON'T CLEAN THE EQUIPMENT!!!! I lost my towel so I bought a new one. Four days later I found my old towel in the cup holder of the elliptical I left it on. When I told management they said THEY DON'T CLEAN THE EQUIPMENT!! Bacteria forms a gym environment within hours. Can you say staff infection everyone. Isn't this breaking a health code?

I've been a member since 2011 and they use to have a women's work out room. Recently it has become unisex. Please please please bring back the women's room!!
Overall decent gym with good variety of equipment and plenty of dumbells. However, if you decide to go here, don't come from 2pm till 11pm, as this gym is one of the most overcrowded gyms I've ever been to. Every single bench and the majority of the machines are completely occupied, and oftentimes you can't even find parking in the parking lot. If a gym is going to have that number of members they need to either expand the actual gym or expand the parking lot, because the gym is not even usable during peak hours.
If you are serious about getting in shape, do not waste your time here. You are only going to pay 10 bucks a month and so are the countless other Highschool kids from centennial right next door. If you have time to sit around all day to wait for someone to get off their phone and actually lift then go here. If you want to pay for a good place you can get in and get your workout done then take your business elsewhere. They have completely oversigned members well beyond there capacity. This is a perfect example that you get what you pay for.
I joined this gym 10 years ago when it was Gold's Gym. I attend a minimum of 4 mornings a week. That said, I have seen the gym go through many changes.
I am so pleased with the work our new GM, Joey, is doing. He has made an amazing difference in the gym. The new management from EOS Fitness really seems to care about their gyms. If they didn't, Joey would not be able to do the great job he is doing.
I attend classes every morning and use the cardio equipment as a supplement.
A special thanks to our new maintenance manager. Tim is amazing. He really cares about our gym and it shows. Thanks Tim. Of course, thanks to the front desk staff, headed by Renee - you guys are the best.
I have found the the people who have the most problems with this gym have brought them on themselves. Every public facility is going to be unacceptable to SOME people. Can't be helped when you are dealing with so many personalities.
Great price however beware of hidden fees such $25 for declined card plus aggressive staff
Fernando is a great employee! He really helped me out showed me around explained everything well. This is an amazing gym if you need any assistance This is the place to go for anyone starting out in fitness.
This eos location is great, they fix they're machines in a timely manner and they have a very welcoming helpful staff. Hannah, Lin and Fernando always greet me and help when I have any questions
Best gym to go to. I go to the gym a minimum of 5 times a week and have been going to this specific location for 8+ years. The staff and members all are here for results. The staff only wants what's best and I have found some of my best lifetime friends here. If you want a gym that fits your needs I highly recommend this location. Some of my favorite things about this location include a friendly staff, clean locker rooms, variety in exercise equipment, and it may sound funny but there is always a good spot to stand and get a blast of crisp cold air to the face during an intense workout. Ask for help and you will get it from both members and staff.
Moved to the area and went here twice as a guest to check it out. The equipment was broken or loose and a couple times I had to offset my position to accommodate. Decided this wasn't good and stopped going. However, I paid for ONE month of basic membership and ever since, their financial company keeps calling me to tell me I owe money or need to update so I can be charged...
No. I am not giving you my money on PURPOSE. You do not have access to my accounts ON PURPOSE. Stop calling.
I read other reviews that mentioned this problem, but I thought, "No way, there has to be something deeper...all these people probably DO owe money."
I was wrong. Now I'm constantly getting phone calls from abc financial every freaking day since going to this gym. Its infuriating.
I haven't worked out here since it was Golds. I went in today to see what it was all about and work out with a friend.
The GM gave me 2 options. Take a tour and sign up. Take a tour and not sign up and pay 15 dollars to work out for the day.
If you want to go in.. it looks nice.. just make sure to bring money if you want to feel welcome.
Do not do personal training with this gym, I told them from the beginning I wanted to only do the minimum 4 month training, after that time you have to cancel a month in advance. Which I tried to do, texted my trainer about it, told him about it at our session, (and like I said he knew from the beginning that was the plan). That had to be the plan because I was starting college and some huge payments were starting to roll in at that time. I thought I had put my 30 days in, but there were way more formalities than I knew. My trainer and all the staff bounced around the topic, but in the end I thought I had communicated that I was done with my personal training, and I thought that was it. Two months later and I realized I am still being charged. They took advantage of a young girl, who was too naive to realize the deliberate lack of communication on the subject of ending my training. Typical business men, typical scammers, do not do it. A lot of strong stern people on staff who will not work or understand the situation. All they care about is numbers. Thanks EOS.
-Starving college kid trying to pay for college, gas, food, etc.
This place is horrible spend your money elsewhere. So when you sign up they give you a complimentary training session RUN. After that session they use car dealership tactics to try and guilt you into paying a boat load of money on personal training. When you say no or I have to think about it they call over the condescending personal training manager to try and strong arm you into signing up. It's horrible. I left and cried out in the parking lot. It took several months before I could come back in and workout and when I did I felt awkward so I ended up quitting. Also there are so many members that during certain times it is so packed it's hard to find a machine. Spend your money elsewhere.
Multiple machines are broke broke or need maintenance and don't get fixed for months. The staff is generally pretty nice except for some who thinks they're "too cool" to even respond to you saying hello while they're scanning your badge? Only good thing about this gym is price and it's 24/7.
Total Joke of a company. First of all, be careful signing up with these crooks, because they will do anything they can to not let you cancel your membership. I had called their member services 2 months ago to pay the remainder of my bill and cancel my membership. But guess what, I'm still getting charges from them. Absolutely pisses me off. And to top it off, the actual gym is a joke too. Every time you show up, something is broken. Oh, and it seems that after 3pm half of Peoria shows up to work out. Cant tell you how many times I've shown up and could NOT find parking in the whole complex and had to leave. F%#@ EOS FITNESS
I see a lot of bad reviews which is crazy to me, the only complaint I have is that yes, half of Peoria goes to this gym and it's very busy, other than that i love the staff, it's got a great clientele, a lot of nice helpful people go here. Never had my car broken into. and the daycare you can't beat, my daughter is constantly asking if we can go to the gym and when we walk in they know her name.
