I have been part of Adventure Boot Camp 12 months. I have been to several other boot camps, including "boot camp" style gym classes, and I can honestly say that this is the best ever. Personally, if someone yelled at me five days a week I would not be motivated to get up at 4:45am every day to go work out. I enjoy Lisa's calm, confident demeanor, and have always felt completely encouraged, not only by her but by everyone else that is there working out with me every morning. This definitely IS the kind of workout that is "level 1 OR level 10" - you can always, always walk, slow down, do less reps/sets, and you can always, always, run faster, speed up, and do more reps/sets! It is definitely multi-level, and for that I am thankful, because I have grown in physical, as well as mental fitness since I began. There are always new workouts, new challenges, and new faces to keep me motivated. Likewise, there is just as much consistency in that the expectation of BEING challenged is always there, and also familiar faces that cheer me on! I have lost nearly 50 pounds, mostly within the first 4-5 months, and I honestly feel amazing. One of the best things about this class is that everyone wants everyone else to do their best, and try their hardest. Just when I feel like I cannot do one more sprint, someone yells out "good job!!!" and I'm re-motivated to go again (and sometimes, again, and again, and again). Can't say one bad thing about Adventure Boot Camp - and there are a whole slew of "regulars" that would agree with me 100%!
