Clean and pretty well maintained. Nice because it's never packed and it isn't the type of gym where people come to socialize. Doesn't have a ton of amenities, but if you're looking for a solid place to work out, this is your spot.

I love this gym! I have been faithfully attending for over 9 years. The instructors are fabulous and I am always warmly greeted upon arrival. Everyone is awesome but Matt is especially so. He takes an active effort in getting to know members and his customer service knows no bounds. I feel like You Fit is my home gym where all my friends go to play! :)

Good Location & great Trainers!!
Ask for Heather T. She is super knowledgeable. She will create a fitness program to meet your goals. She understands different metabolic body types and will encourage you along the way!!

Very low key. Work out at your own pace. Help and coaching available if you want it. "Normal" looking people work out here. I have yet to see a Supermodel or Mr Universe. This is not "La Fit" and I am glad

New management seems to be trying to improve the facilities with keeping up with general maintenance and basic cleaning. The women's restroom/locker room is tidy and the sinks/faucets repaired now. The equipment appears to be in good working order, none of the dreaded "Out of Service" printouts taped on machines. It's still not on the very "clean" end of the spectrum (compared to Gilbert's YouFit location off Lindsey & WFR), the staff could be wiping things down or sweeping up debried floors vs just hanging out at desks alone. This is NO longer a 24-hour Gym either.

Update - this review was for the previous tenant FitnessWorks. NEVER JOIN FITNESSWORKS. Worst gym ever. So many billing issues and questionable billing practices. My wife was back and forth with them non-stop. Getting billed twice for things, aggressive calls from their billing department, confusion about payments made, and nothing but rude people to deal with. She went in and closed her account. Paid whatever they said she had remaining on her last monthly dues. Then a few weeks later the billing department calls and says she owes for the month. Called the gym and they act like they don't remember anything that happened. No one cares. If you want a gym that will gladly take your money and deliver poor services in a poorly maintained facility, then try and sell you on more services, then bill you for services you never used, then do as little as possible to help remedy the situation, then this is the gym for you. Just go somewhere else where you can pay month to month with no contract and no billing hassles. This place sucks.

Just a kick back gym with friendly staff always willing to help out. Pool steam room hot tub need a little updating but looks like they are in the middle of doing that to the exercise equipment, all new. Thanks so much for being there.

This is MY gym! Love the friendly staff and great members who inspire me and are courteous and friendly. The trainers are so good with their clients and want to help you meet your fitness goals. Amanda is the best trainer, she never let's me give up or quit! She takes a real interest in my health and pushes me harder than I thought I could go. Reed helped me for free to help me with some post surgery issues I was going through. You're greeted in the morning no matter what time with a friendly face and thanked on the way out the door! If you're looking for a place that has a family feel this is the place.

A lot of these reviews state $10 a month as if it justifies how dirty and unkempt this place is. There are a handful of gyms that charge $10 a month and offer a much better experience. I can say that as a women working out alone, I wouldn't feel comfortable in this gym, which I feel is saying a lot since its located in a nice area. I hate to give anyone a bad review, but this place definitely needs some TLC. Not to mention they told me that if they were having a busy day they could choose to turn away my kids from kids club, regardless of whether or not I'm paying a monthly fee for them to attend. All I know, is if I got dressed to work out, got my kids loaded up and then upon arrival was told they weren't going to watch my kids, I'd be disappointed I couldn't work out and angry I was paying for a service I wasn't receiving. I've worked out at a lot of gyms and I can say, I've never been turned away from the kids club. I appreciate the honesty, but it's for this reason and the current condition of the gym that I would not recommend this gym to anyone, especially moms.

DO not come to this gym. Horrible Experience with Riley the Assistant Manager as he made us leave the gym cause he tells fake stories and lies to people to start drama. EOS is way better. Get him outta there he's pushing members out.

I was sent screenshots by a friend of that stuff that recently he is still running his filthy mouth about me. Used to love Fitness Works, then they changed to Youfit... I cancelled my membership back when it was Fitness Works, and YOUFIT never stopped charging me, still won't, I'm gonna have to take legal action to recoup HUNDREDS of dollars they stole from me...I loved this GYM under previous management, I have never interacted with ABC YouFit, never been into their gym, and yet they have charged me HUNDREDS of dollars, does this seem right?

Although this place is not the same as it was 3-5 years ago, I still enjoy going and think the equipment is decent. The women's locker room smells atrocious though, and I avoid going in at all possible costs. I love using the dry sauna after a workout to stretch. But since I have to utilize a locker to store items in order to use the dry sauna, I've been skipping that part lately as well.

The staff are very unprofessional. I received a mailer and the manager refused to uphold the advertised price and openly and deliberately tried to rip me off. I would not recommend this gym, until they change their business practices.

Rude people (especially management), run down gym. Spend your money elsewhere because there's nicer gyms that charge the same fees. I'm switching gyms because it's honestly one of the worst gyms I've worked out at. No mats, no fans in middle of summer over the cardio machines, they rarely if ever clean the equipment and the floors (my yoga mat that I'm forced to bring gets filthy from placing it on their floors), machines always out of order, sauna usually always turned off, steam room is gross and smells like mold, and they don't allow advertising, like every other gym does, for other health-related businesses . Uh hello cross referrals? Apparently their "business" doesn't understand this concept. No wonder they don't have enough money to pay for regular maintenance or running their fans during the summer! FYI they are You Fit now, but still all the same management/staff.

I am stuck between a rock and a hard place at this moment. I had received a week free pass. I had used the pass and then signed up for a gym membership. No enrollment fees but then was charged a $65 starting fee (which I was told that there would be no starting or enrollment fees). I have nothing to prove this because even though I asked for gym membership contract, the enrollment rep said they don't give anything like that out. They had then set me up for a body assessment with Carol. I felt that I was talked into personal training sessions. Kyle is great and knows exactly what I need to do to get to where I need to be. My concern is that when I met with Carol, she mentioned the amount of sessions I would need and mentioned one price. When I had called in to try and break the payments up as my financial situation has changed, this crazy number of $2,880 came into play. The only number I saw was $480. 1. I had never received the contract that I had signed (and by the way, you do not sign a hard copy). You sign into a pin pad and they really don't tell you what you are signing. 2. I received a paper copy after having to ask my PT to fax me one. This is when I saw the $2,880 number. The contract says that you can cancel within the 3 day period after receiving the contract. Well when I had received the contract, I had written a letter and put it in an envelope and dropped it off with the contract asking to cancel the PT contract. I guess the only way for me to cancel this so-called contract, is that I can pay for the remaining sessions which is $1,440 and then forgo the second half of the sessions. The sessions are great and again Kyle is a great trainer and perfect for getting me in to shape. If I had known that the total of having a personal trainer at Fitness Works was going to be $2,880, I probably wouldn't have signed up. I received a call again today asking if my card could be charged for the $1,440. If I didn't have the money to continue in the first place how do I now have the money for a payment of $1,440. My Husband is now upset that I was going to be charged $2,880. When I signed up for my gym membership, I was not handed any contract paperwork or receipts. I mentioned to Carol that when she signed me up for the PT contract, I did not receive any paperwork. She advised that she put it in with the block nutrition paperwork. The day I had signed up, I did not walk away with any paperwork for my sessions with Kyle. I received the block nutrition paperwork the first day we had our training session. I will keep my gym membership but I just want to cut ties with the personal training contract as I would rather use that biweekly payment towards paying off debt like my student loans. I hope to hear something soon to avoid further issues.

You're forced to give one star and believe me this place does NOT deserve even one. My daughter is here only for the summer and it was agreed upon that she would only pay $20 a month. As soon as she was canceling to go back to school they took/stole $39.99 out of her account. I called to resolve this and the GM refused to talk to me and Carolyn their accounts payable person hung up on me when I called. Totally unprofessional. Do NOT sign up here. You will regret it. I've contacted their corporate offices and the AZ Republic and 5 on your side. Hope to get this resolved.

I normally don't write reviews online unless I am very pleased or very displeased. Hoping this will help someone. WATCH out for the secret charges! My kiddos go with me (3 of them at $30 a month) but you also have to pay a $120 annual fee for them. When I signed up I was told it was a 1 time payment. Unfortunately I was miss informed and management wasn't helpful when I brought it up. Sad because they used to have an amazing kids club. Now its run down and lame. Staff is nice but no activities done. Kids just kind of fend for themselves with adult supervision. Classes are good and there are some good trainers but overall not happy with the way they manage or the kids club. Will be looking into a new gym better fit for my family.

Always missing bars, it's like there isn't enough for all the benches and racks. Completely discharged fire extinguisher on wall. After 3 years I can confirm this place is always in a state of disrepair. Polite front end.
