This place is closing and God forbid the regulars want to use the facility before then. Who has time to restrict their workouts to 8am until 8pm? Most "normal" folks work and like to go 1st thing in the morning. It's their world I'm just a visitor clearly
I love that the kids club is open on Sundays and the slide is super fun for the kids!!! Yoga classes with Marina are amazing!!! I hope this location stays open!!!
This LA Fitness is a bit older in terms of equipment but I like the vibe here. My only complaint and every LA Fitness is the desk people hardly ever smile or greet anyone. I don't know what they are getting paid to do but EOS and Mountainside both have friendly desk staff that check you in.
Old as dirt former 24 hour fitness so they still have a hot steam room

Love my membership. All the locations I have been to are awesome. Great selection of machines, clean facility and locker rooms. They also have a big swimming pool and sauna. They also have the option to pay for a personal trainer if you want. I was always a little nervous to go to the gym but I feel very comfortable at LA Fitness.

It's an older facility and gets the job done. Equipment can be waiting for service for a while, staff isn't attentive with handsanitizer stations or paper towels. It's ok hence a 3 star - you get what you pay for. I can't wait until the new one opens close by as I will be changing locations ASAP.

Awesome place to work out and Zumba instuctor was awesome Thursday night.
Friendliest people and great location!! The staff is absolutely awesome!! I've worked out at this location for several years..when it was still 24 hour fitness..and this location has only gotton better. The staff is helpful, the machines are clean, and the trainers are not bothered if you ask for a little advice...would definitely recommend to friends!!

I love the dry and wet spa rooms but a bit too hot.
Let's be honest the people who are raving about this gym and giving it 5 Stars clearly never works out there or works for the company. The gym is always filthy it has bloody loogie spit on to the mirrors, hair lint balls that float across the ground, people who blow snot into the swimming pool but the manager says they can do that because it's not in the rules. Half of the equipment is usually broken every other week takes months for things to get fixed when the maintenance guy is there he usually is talking to the person at the front desk for my whole workout which is an hour and a half. I have been a member of this gym since it was 24 Hour Fitness when they opened in 2001 the gym has been going downhill The Last 5 Years and it is just getting worse. They have the front room blocked off for the personal trainers that are pretty much non-existent all of the other La fitnesses you are allowed in that area but for some particular reason you can't here . I will continue to come here just because of convenience , I have heard this location is on the market .
Had a session with trainer ( Melissa). She was great and gave me a lot of ways to reach my goals. The exercises were a great addition and the to ones given to me by my physical therapist. Gym appeared clean and staff friendly.

We joined 24 Hour Fitness some years ago in Oregon. It was really convenient to just come to Arizona and go to the 24 Hour Fitness. We came in one morning and discovered it been bought by LA Fitness. Not much of anything has changed in the gym except that we have to switch allegiance with Silverfit a month before we come here or go home. Not quite as convenient. We tried another LA Fitness here and didn't like it. My husband actually hurt himself. So we're glad they haven't changed out the 24 Hour Fitness Equipment.

Great staff, gym pool jacuzzi steam bath and sauna are always kept clean. Overall great gym experience!
This is a great facility. The people there are great, and I don't have a personal trainer, but the ones I see working around seem to be very good and are full of information . Don't live in Gilbert, if I did, this would be my main gym.
Pretty nice gym but if they promise you anything for referring members you will never see it.
It is not as nice as the LA Fitness on Gilbert but I like this location because they are open later then all the other locations! Typically till 11pm when the others close at 8 on the weekends. The equipment is all older but it all works great! The gym does smell like chlorine becauae of the pool. For some reason even though the pool is in a different room, it smells in the main gym. You get used to the smell so not a deal breaker.
The weights that they offer are so diverse that even I can work out there. My muscles have never been so big in my life! Other than them trying to scam me (-1 star) they would have received 5 stars! Every time I work out I get this tingly feeling in my arms like they're excited and I don't get the same feeling anywhere else but here. If you like the tingly sensation then I would recommend you work out here! Just be careful because they want your money and they're sneaky conversationalists so don't let them trick you.
The gym had everything you needed in order to get a proper workout. With that being said, the only reason I ever drove out to this location was because it was the only 24 hour LA Fitness in the East Valley. They have just changed their hours, and it no longer fits my needs and/or schedule. I wish I had not paid for a year membership with LA Fitness. I definitely will be looking for a 24/7 gym and not renewing my current LA Fitness membership.
Most of the treadmills are not working on most days. There is rarely soap in the women's bathroom. This gym was so much better when it was 24 hour fitness. Now it sucks! Don't waste your money!

Seldom ever do you see staff.
Place changed it's hours. It actually stated it was going to take effect on Sunday the 16th, but the closed the doors on Saturday the 15th at 1100pm. Nothing better than walking up to the door and seeing the staff kick everyone out and lock the doors.
No longer 24 hours. No longer able to use LA Fitness. Off to better things!
