My son absolutely loves going here. They teach him discipline and the importance of doing things the first time! The instructors are amazing and really good with the kids!!
This program and their instructors are amazing! Their ability to provide discipline & confidence in their participants, while making all of us feel very comfortable, is an awesome experience. We heart this place!
My 2 boys train here and we love it. They learn to follow directions the first time, pay attention, and karate techniques. The instructors are fantastic and the atmosphere is exciting.
We have been taking our girls to ABK for nearly three years now and we have to say that Arizona's BEST Karate sure does stand by their name. Master Preston, Master D and ALL of the staff at ABK are truly exceptional and make the kids (and parents) laugh everyday.
The life skill they've taught our children will ensure their success in life. We consider ourselves lucky to have passed the ABK booth at the Spooktacular festival back in October 2015!
A special shout out to Master Preston for his understanding and compassion for the recent struggles in our home life. We always feel like we can go to him with anything concerning our girls and he will go out of his way to help out.

I had a similar experience as a couple of the other reviews. I think they have a great karate program, but they are NOT up front about the cost of canceling the contract. There is NOTHING in the contract about the process of canceling or quitting. When I called about canceling initially, I got the answering machine, so left a message. NO ONE called back. Be aware of what the cancelation requires (for us it was a written request and three months of tuition). When I called to talke to someone about it, they just blew me off and referred me to the company that processes the payments each month. They aren't cooperative either stating that I signed a contract and too bad for me. I take responsibility for signing the contract, but think it's wrong that no one expains this process up front. The process and penalty should be very clear ON THE CONTRACT. If you sign a contract, PLEASE get the cancelation process and penalties IN WRITING.

ABK is awesome! Master D, Master Preston and Master Pozon are the best around! They teach these kids discipline and persistence. My daughter has come so far since 2014 and she has grown to love karate even more then when she started. They grow relationships with the instructors and I feel good knowning my daughter is in a safe environment. I highly recommend Arizona's Best Karate if your child has interest in karate! They are so amazing! We love you all!
Our daughter has been at ABK for over 3 years. Next week she will be testing for her 1st degree black belt. She has learned so much more than karate. She has become a better listener, along with being more confident in herself. The instructors are great at instilling self discipline, commitment, and being a better person. I would recommend ABK to anyone looking to get started in karate. It's a great learning environment.
My kids have been going to Arizona's Best Karate for over 2 years now and we absolutely love it!!! I am so thankful we found this place because my kids have learned so much, not just about karate, but about important life skills such as confidence, honesty, and perseverance. The instructors are not only talented, but they are so fun and good with kids. They care about each and every student and it really feels like a big family there. The progress my kids have made since we started is more than I could have ever asked for. My kids are doing flips and tricks and twirling weapons, it's so fun to watch! I don't know where my kids would be right now if I hadn't put them in ABK. I highly recommend Arizona's Best Karate for any parent looking to find an activity for their kids.
We have been bringing our girls to ABK for nearly two years. I've watched each of them improve not only in their respect for others, but also in their physical form. Having to raise two young ladies, it's refreshing to see them become physically stronger so that if need be, they can protect themselves. Master D definitely make the kids laugh all while teaching them what they need to know in order to move up to the next belt level. Everytime these girls graduate to a new belt, they find a new pride in themselves, which makes this Mama beam. Thanks ABK team, you're all the best!
Wonderful training in a fun wholesome environment. When you are signed up you are family and treated as such. When they know you won't be re-singing (due to unforeseen circumstances not because we were unhappy) you are no longer spoken to. Four months prior to my contract ending things changed financially for me. I brought it to their attention and was told they would work with me, not to worry. Just keep brining my kiddo. I made the payments happen every month without a hitch and never needed flexability. On my final month (no prior missed, late or unpaid payments) I was now unable to even take my child to classes. I left two different messages to please have someone call me back. No one returned my call. All I wanted was to stop my final payment from being auto deducted. If they couldn't waive my final month as a courtesy to a formally good paying happy customer then I'd set up payments in house to pay (not auto pay) My child really wanted to return someday and I encourage her to. When we are ready we will be finding a new studio.

The instructors aren't just about the karate. It's about discipline. It's a way of life that is encouraged to extend outside of the dojo. They are patient with the little ones and I love bringing my kids here.
Arizona's Best Karate is awesome! We always get the most amazing service every time we go there. I absolutely love all of the staff that work there and I want to mention that they are always so positive and passionate when they are teaching the kids/adults. My son has already improved at home and in school with his respect and listening skills. Not to mention, he is always excited to attend class each week. His teacher from school has even come and watched him at practice!! This is definitely worth your time and money to invest into for your children or even yourself. My son looks forward to obtaining his black belt someday and I know that Arizona's Best Karate will help him achieve that goal. Thank you :)
