Amazing facilities. Outstanding staff. Good price
The weight are is a bit on the small side but it's great for families as it offers the cheapest option(s) if you have children. So much to do. I would give 5 stars if they had a pool.
We went there to play disc golf, they were super helpful. They let us borrow some discs which was a plus. The course is nicely marked and the throwing platforms make it alot easier to see where the next hole is. Just don't go around school times, the parents picking up there kids makes the course unplayable during the drop off/pick up times.
Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful, caring fitness instructors, with a great variety of classes. Good variety of workout equipment, and elevated walking track in a pleasant atmosphere. My sister, from Delaware, gives it a 5-star rating. She loves going over there.
I enjoy being part of this gym! The indoor track is small but very useful on really hot days. The spin bikes upstairs are now upgraded and in great working order! I wish they had more classes available and there was a pool, but this gym suits my purposes and I'm glad to be part of it!
Amazingly great family workout place. The kids love the rock wall and my wife and I can work out upstairs while they climb. It's great and affordable.

What an awesome facility! This is almost a brand new state-of-the-art facility for recreation and fun. It really stimulates your desire to get fit. Located off of Guadalupe and Gilbert Road this facility has everything to inspire you there's a beautiful walk Jog and run path around the upstairs of the facility where you can see outside it's just so beautiful. I have never seen a City Recreation Center so nice. We play Pickleball there they also have basketball courts a workout area Fizz ball pool tables. You name it they got it. The staff is friendly and everything is just super duper
Price: If you are a Gilbert resident, it is only $26 a month or $200 if you pay annually. I recommend paying annually as you save the most money.

2 story indoor rock climbing wall which is amazing! They have 4 sides of the rock you can climb depending on what difficulty level you want/need.
Indoor walk/jog/run track on the 2nd floor. It does a bog circle around the center of the 4 full size basket ball courts. I love the track because during the summer months, I don't have to sweat like crazy. I can do this indoor track, stay cool, and not be stuck on a treadmill.
3-4 full size indoor racket ball courts.
Daycare to take care of the children so that you can get a great workout in.
Showers and lockers you can use so after you get a good sweat in, you can take a shower, clean, and put on good clothes before heading off to work.

The weights are nice and easy to use. If you are a citizen you get a discount. The steam room is nice but it used to have eucalyptus in it :( now it just smells like feet. Please fix that

Great rock walls to climb, beautiful place, classes, ping pong, pool tables, racquetball. My new favorite class...cardio drumming. The only thing missing is a pool.

These people. Are amazing. Espevually the afternoon and night shift. Thank heavens and the moon and the stars that I have such wonderful company to walk into before I go to work out. They're honestly some of the best people I've ever met.

Great facilities (not extensive, but really good at what it is), great classes ranging from exercise to baby classes to preschool (especially love children's classes here-Ms Debra is AMAZING!). Great staff. Clean. Child care option, climbing wall (6 and up, limited hrs), sauna, locker room with showers. Star off because a) membership prices are higher compared to more conventional gym choices nearby, and b) parking sucks. Plenty of spaces, but at an unusual distance from the building. Related: the disabled spots require a long walk to the entrance, and almost all of the exercise equipment room is upstairs.
This place is amazing! My family and I come out here almost everyday to participate in classes that are offered. There is something here for everyone for every age group from racket ball, weight lifting, basketball, track running and billiards just to name a few things. The classes here are also really good at engaging you and they motivate you to work out; in fact, the classes are my favorite part. In my own opinion, the best classes are the cardio drumming and muscle conditioning. I highly encourage anyone and everyone to come down here and bring along your families for a fun day of air conditioned exercise.
It's a fun place to go for a quick 9 holes but it's pretty normal flat and easy. It's a great beginner course simply par threes.
Gilbert residents are fortunate to have this beautiful facility available to them. Fall class schedule offers a wide variety of activities. Friendly, professional and accommodating.

I am going through the process of regaining custody of my children. I have visits 2 days a week at the moment and I sometimes use the rec center to facilitate said visits. The people there have been so kind and understanding of my situation and have even given me free admission. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great family experience. I feel so welcome when I'm there and so do my children
