1996 Atlanta Olympics. Amanda Borden from the magnificent seven.
Amanda owns and runs this and the Gold Medal Gymnastics in Tempe as well. Amanda coaches along with walking around, talking with gymnasts, encouraging them to try new skills, helping them get over fears. The gym is amazing! They have two vault tables with mats behind them and one vault table into the pit. There are three sets of uneven bars along with two single rails and a pit bar. There are twelve beams in total, 6 low beams and 6 high beams. The floor is the normal competition floor size with two foam rezis to learn new skills on. There is a mirror by the floor so you can watch yourself do a skill or perform a routine. There are two tumble tracks. One for team and one for recreational gymnasts. There is a recreational floor along with 7 or 8 beams. There are recreational star bars along with some monkey bars and fun bars for the younger kids. Gold Medal Gymnastics also has a dance room where most of the girls do conditioning in. There is also a sports court where many of the levels warm up, condition or sometimes play games.
Right when you walk in you see the amazing front desk and the awesome staff that works there. You also can see the competition schedule on the wall to your right. On your left, there is the pro shop where they sell leotards, shorts, sports bras, scrunchies, doll leotards, ect. There is the uneven bar ( snack bar) where they sell chips, fruit snacks, popcorn, granola bars, drinks, fruits and many other items.
So if your looking for a gymnastics center for your child, please pick Gold Medal, it's amazing and so friendly!
