I went into this gym to cancel my membership on my only day off and was advised that I am unable to do so on the weekends. Wow, what a huge inconvenience, I work 9am- 6pm Monday through Friday and I often pull 12-13 hour work days. That was also the time frame I needed to go in speak to a manager which again is impossible. I do not have the time to cancel my membership during the week. I have been a customer since 2012 and this is how you treat your customers? Thank you for clarifying why I will not be staying at your gym.
The "upgrade" was simply a way to generate more revenue through personal training at the expense of less equipment and room. WiFi never works. Employees are clueless. Used to be nice, but not so slowly being ruined.

Very clean location, friendly staff and the equipment is serviced very well. Love going there but one friendly tip: Do NOT give them your cell number. They seem to keep calling until the 3rd time you ask them to stop.

Not busy at all in the mornings as compared to others that I've been to. All new equipment. I wish they had longer hours for child care on the weekends but that seem to be a problem with all LA fitness.
A lot of broken cardio equipment , the staff is aware because I see the signs on the equipment saying its broken and needs service. Two tried milk next to the broken one also not working. I was surprised at the amount of broken equipment.

Friendly staff, clean gym, well maintained, full amenities. Nothing to complain about here. Plenty of the right equipment you need to get into shape and stay in shape.
Indoor lap pool, racquetball courts, sauna, jacuzzi, spin classes, fitness classes, on-site trainers. Staff is friendly and helpful, the gym and locker rooms are clean and well maintained, clientele is young to old. People are either friendly or keep to themselves. You'll be very comfortable working out here.

Stay clear of the smoothie bar called Kiwi. Prices are really high, workers can't speak to the ingredients of their protein powders (which are all junk anyway) and you'll be pressured into joining their frequent customer plan.
Friendly enough staff, clean facility as workers are always typically cleaning one area or another, assistance has always been available when need, updated equipment (at times there are overly worn covers)...nice place to workout overall. Would like to see expanded early morning weekend hours.

This is the cleanest gym thanks to their cleaning person Ashley! It doesn't matter what time I go in she is always cleaning the gym and the equipment on her hands and knees! She deserves a huge raise. My family and I were contemplating switching now that it's time to renew but have decided to stay with LA Fitness thanks to how sanitary and clean she keeps it! Thank you Ashley!!
Definitely hands down LA Fitness is the best gym to go to in Arizona in the Gilbert location with the setup you can't beat it the whole Plaza is growing and definitely excited to see what's going to come along with it also extremely thankful for them allowing me to offer my HK meals inside of their gym at Oasis juice bar
I love this place but I like it much better when there isn't too many people.
Great new facility, tons of machine. When you sign-up up, the staff will be very pushy to sign-up for the towel package or personal training packages and will even call you at work during the day. I like this place even after the first week blitz at my purse.
I love to workout there. Great people

Compared to the other gyms that I have gone to this one feels to be more spacious, has better equipment, and stays consistently clean.
This place is really big compared to all the other LA Fitness' I've been too. It also has new equipment which is really nice and everything is spread out which makes it easy to get around during the busy or times. They do close at 8 on the weekends and be nice if they move that to 11 but not a deal-breaker.
I'd say this is the best one within a 20 mile radius. Most equipment options as well.
I tried 3 times to get my membership canceled and every time was told it was canceled but I still got billed 2 months in a row. I went and talked to the manager and she rudely told me that she can't refund the past 2 months because I didn't remember the name of the person I talked to. This place is a ridiculous joke and the employees will bs you given any opportunity. DO NOT SIGN UP HERE
Nice new facility; lot's of machines; great location but they can REALLY use some heavier kettlebells.....36 lbs just doesnt cut it; VERY HOT & muggy.....do they not know this is Phoenix? (many members complain but no change in temps) Terrible cycle classes--lot's of bikes but what happened to lights off & music blasting?
Nice clean gym, with good classes. I like the zumba teacher on Thursdays the best. Saturday teacher isn't good.
La Fitness is a joke, got membership in my son name 3 months ago. The Credit Card, email & phone# all in my name, only membership is in my son name, I'm a guest. Wanted to switch membership in my name & son as a guest. He in football 6 days a week & I wanted to start working out early mornings. LA won't fix or switch membership into my name. Rather lose a membership/ customer then switching into my name. WHAT A JOKE!! Don't join waste of time & your money.
