I started the women's boxing class about a month ago. Sonny is an awesome trainer and the women that have been going there for awhile also step in to assist with the different items we are doing. Sonny keep up the good work. Yes I'm there on a groupon but seriously thinking about joining as a member and getting rid of the gym I belong to. This is exactly what I was looking for - can't get this in a regular gym !!!!
My 13 yr old son had been attending for a few months now and he really enjoys coming. I really like seeing how all the children are greeted by name as they walk into the boxing gym.

Just completed my jump start program recently with the trainers at this gym and I just loved our ass-kicking workouts they placed me through. All trainers are chill and the workouts are pleasantly challenging and these guys were simple to schedule.
I've been going to Sonny's for quite some time now. Best boxing gym I've ever been to. Sonny is very committed to creating a healthy community. If you're willing to put the time in at Sonny's on a regular basis you will see results!

I am speaking out about Sonnys Boxing Gym, there was a time my brother Gabriel trained here. I was 16 at the time. Sonnys father, a man in his 60's asked me to come look at shirts. He had me try on Tank Tops in a closet. He didnt let me Shut the door and proceeded to watch me undress. I was 16. He was chewing gum when he asked, "what would you do for one of these shirts" alarmed, I looked at him and said "pay for it?" He got a grin and shook his head, he said No, what else would you do. I told him I didnt know and that was when this 60 year old man asked to kiss me. A 16 year old girl, alone and vulnerable in this closet. I thank god a girl walked in to startle this man. I was able to exit the dark closet and find my mom and brother. Think twice about Sonnys Gym. Think twice about what he may do to your children in this facility.
Great gym, great staff, great people in and out. Everyone is polite and the gym itself is inviting. I feel great working out here. Even the open gym is tough, but I feel like I accomplish something every day. If you don't know how to use equipment, or just simply want advice, just ask and the staff will help. I look forward to what the future has in store for me at Sonny's.

I went to my first womens fitness class tonite and couldn't have had a better experience. All the ladies in the class were a delight and Sonny put us through a great workout. The classes rotate each session from upper body, abs and legs. I had previously worked out at orange theory, but the classes just became a little bit too expensive for my budget. Sonnys offers an unlimited access membership for $60 a month, which includes use open gym and the fitness classes which is perfect for me. The gym was very clean and has a great layout, it was a very motivating workout environment. I also like the fact that the evening class that I attended consisted of only women, and there was no one else in the gym. It made it very easy to focus on my workout. So happy that I found this gem.
Love coming here and doing my daily needs of working out. The staff member Jordan is very helpful and also provides daily facts how to keep your body active and healthy.
If I could give this gym a 0 I would. Seems like they find a way to delete negative reviews..... I trained with Sonny and he was never attentive. Was always on his phone and would leave and forget about me.... Not very professional and sort of a creep with women. Likes to say inappropriate things. Spoke to other ladies in the gym and they had the same thing to say. Would look somewhere else if I was u.
My first day back to his new gym since 2006 and it feels good to be back home. I tried other gyms and seen no progress to my weight loss, at Sony's Boxing Gym the moment I enter the staff is great, if you need direction on any work out all you have to do is ask. I see the negative review and all i can say to that is maybe you were not asking for guidance, where you dedicated and giving it your best and how many days you go out of the week? I was one of Sonny's armature boxer at 178lbs and once he seen that I invested my time and got in shape he knew the next step for me and started giving me more attention. Bottom line all you have to do is ask, speak up people no need to go sour and negative. Currently at 325 lbs and i will show my progress once I get to 200 lbs THE BEST GYM IN THE VALLEY OF THE SUN SONNY'S GYM!!!
It a great place if u want to work hard sonny and his dad now what there doing my kids love it not a place to play it a place to work hard for what you want thank you sonny for having us from valerie and vanessa enriquez.
Amazing gym and staff. Been coming here since September and I thought my fitnes level was on point until I did 1 on 1 training with sonny and he kicks my ass every session . Love the sweat and every workout is different. I would definitely reccemond anyone who is thinking about getting in shape to give it a try. Prices are very fair compared to other boxing gyms I checked out and they have definitely earned a long time customer.
This is a terrific gym. The people are terrific as well. The environment is beautiful, clean as a whistle and motivating. The staff is tops. I have been coming here for almost a year and learned more than I could imagine. I have also gotten into the best shape of my life. My wife and son are now also attending and loving it. I highly recommend this gym.
