It's a nice gym. Great for beginners, I like the hours and it's really clean. The hydro massage chair is the best and they have a sauna type machine that tones the muscles too. The customer service is great too.
Great gym considering the low gym fees. The HYDRO MASSAGE CHAIR gives a very relaxing and effective water massage. The gym is clean and well maintained. The showers are not the worst but, need more regular attention, however.
No PF will ever get 5 stars from me because they don't have free weights. They say they don't judge, but there are derogatory messages everywhere about gym rats and fit people. This one gets 4 stars because of the quality of equipment they have. Hammer Strength machines rock!
Friendly staff helped me sign up, and didn't pressure me to take the most expensive option. The Planet Fitness location was clean, bright and busy at 6pm on a Friday night. The club had a mix of men and women, working out, and the equipment looked new and in good working order. As it's been awhile since I've belonged to a gym, I really liked that there is no financial penalty if it's not a good fit, although there is an annual fee in addition to the $10 monthly fee they advertise. There are locker rooms (bring your own lock), with bathroom and showers available.
The gym is great, the staff is great. This is about the business practices. You have to go in person to cancel a plan. Sidenote, I'm still being billed. Maybe I'm wrong. But I believe you get billed when you first apply. This implies you're paying ahead. Assuming so, there's no reason to still bill after you've cancelled. Again, the gym is awesome and so is the staff. If I could verify you pay when you apply, is knock it to 2. I just don't appreciate any business that makes you jump hoops to cancel service. It makes me suspicious. I wonder if I'll get billed again next month too.
Great staff! Always welcoming, and friendly. Equipment is always clean, any plenty of options to use.
This is the smallest Planet Fitness I have ever visited. The Black Card Spa was severely lacking in amenities and privacy. The employees weren't terribly friendly either.

No truck parking, very unfair when my husband and I are both black card members and respectful of property...and there is plenty of parking area behind the building.

They cater toward caucasians people from what I gather. They got rid of the one black fitness trainer that actually knew what she was doing. Haven't seen one yet that could give proper training since her Smh.

The people are very friendly and the staff are okay... i had a question for the trainer who was deep in conversation with someone so i havw manners and didnt want to interrupt. I normally will say pardon me and ask my question however there was no break in the conversation! She glanced at me a couple times before i walked off. I let it go. Not knowing someone else was watching. The customer was highly pissed that she completely ignored me and he stood up and said something. I dont let that incident bother me because i am on a mission and i pay my dues.

Had two accounts to charge. One being the primary and one the secondary. They charged my secondary account into the negatives and then tried to credit the money back into my account. That's honest, but they won't pay for the over charge caused by their negligence. I now have to pay my over charge fee because they don't understand how to switch accounts to be charged.. Great people at this store, the corporationa problem handling skills are a joke though.
The normal crowd at this gym is representative of what planet fitness embodies as a company, judgement free and friendly. All if the machines were in working order. The front desk staff were very quick to great me and made sure that my experience was an enjoyable one.
Snotty rude black female on night shift sits around flirting with men all night. Very unprofessional. Filthy bathrooms, black card a joke, sorry massage chair you gotta wait around for. A bunch of broken equipment, over crowded. As soon as you walk away from a machine to get a breather someone else is on it can't finish workout. The music is the worst! Same 10 songs looping over and over, fat out of shape employees walking around eating pizza... The worst!

If they were open 24 hours like all the other ones I've been to, I would give them a higher rating. Inconvenience plays a big part in my grade here.

It's a Planet Fitness. So in general you know what to expect, and for the most part this place delivers. It's clean. Staff seems friendly. Equipment appeared to be well maintained But unfortunately I can only give 3 out of 5 stars.
If you're used to big city locations and those near major metropolitan areas, you might be somewhat taken aback visiting here like I did.
They are NOT 24 hours. They close EARLY on Fridays. 9 pm! This came as a total shock to me. Glad I got it when I did so at least I got SOME lifting in before the advisement was made that in 10 minutes they were closing.
Men's showers are clean but somewhat poorly lit. The dark paint in the shower stall only makes it seem even darker with the inadequate lighting.
In conclusion, a good place to get a workout. A bit smaller than many locations I've seen, and extremely limited weekend hours. But once you take this into account you'll be ok.
Clean, easy to find, and wasn't busy. There was plenty of parking and machines. Instructor came around to let me know she was starting a circuit. Exterior and parking lot could use some tlc as well as some redesign. It's very plain and uninviting.

It's planet fitness! The staff are all kind and helpful, always happy to greet you and answer my questions no matter how ridiculous. If you have their deluxe membership which is really only $10 more a month, you get extras like free tanning and this hydromassage and you can bring a friend with you for free anytime. If you had a confirmed gym buddy only one of you would need a membership. They have a large number of cardio machines such as treadmills and bicycles, and usually enough weight machines you don't have to wait very long. And tootsie rolls. And showers. And no judgement
Home club was in Birmingham but came here for a short trip. The front desk was VERY HELPFUL. especially A'Leia. Very happy with the service.
I've been going here for years.The employees there now are so helpful with explaining the weight machines and showing positive vibes!
