I went from someone who didn't think very much of herself to someone who has not in only grown in strength physically, but mentally as well. Today, I am stronger, more confident, and more fit than I've ever been and it is all thanks to the love, support, and instruction I've received from the owner Elle and her wonderful team of instructors.
I recently competed at PSO Southern on the Studio Steel Team and I won a gold medal!!! I'm three months into pole sport and this is the type of results I've received in such a short period of time.
If you like to workout in a judge-free environment filled with people of all backgrounds then this is the place to be. Prices are great, the instructors are incredible, and I'm delighted to say that I've gained a whole new family with my pole sisters!

The business owner speaks very derogatorily of her employees even in front of students... she picks favorites based on political views and who spends the most money on her overpriced classes, clothing, and shoes. If she REALLY likes you, she will give you the VIP treatment and let you come for free whenever you want and eventually offer an instructor position to you even though there are other students who are more advanced. She puts on a front of sticky sweetness but in reality she talks very badly behind your back.. she will post pictures and videos of you without a media release... the list goes on... I DO NOT recommend this studio.
{EDIT: as you can clearly see by the business owner's responses to my review, she is well skilled in harassment. Elle, I am not who you think I am nor was I put up to this by who you think. I am a student (with a fulltime and very well paying job thank you) and I took this upon myself to leave this review. This is my experience and I wanted to share this with others before they consider doing business with you. This is a joint account. Not a bogus one. --- EDIT #2: The business owner has edited her response once more and is now accusing me of lying. I am sorry for trying to provide an accurate view of the level of customer service provided here! If someone cannot handle a bad review and tries to have it removed that is false advertisement if you ask me.}

Studio steel... what can i say its a great workout, I've lost inches on my belly and arms. an hour a day really does help! i love it!!!! studio is clean and well kept, air conditioned, with music and awesome heels!!!! i got an awesome pair of 8" pleasers from elle! and purple booty shorts. lots of poles and comfortable no judgement. i wam going back daily.

Finally, a professional vertical fitness facility in B'ham! Pole is an incredible workout and it's greatly enhanced when the instructors and the studio are top notch, like they are here. Studio Steel is a new, unique, and very comfortable space that really lets you focus on the workout. I so like the look and feel of the place. The pleasant surroundings, ample parking, professional equipment, and quality accessories in the boutique let it all come together. Definitely worth a visit. And, they've got a great $10 "Taste of Pole" option that newbies should absolutely check out.

Going to class at Studio Steel is definitely my favorite place to go/do through out the week. Corinne an Elle are some of the most friendliest people I have been delighted to meet. I have started learning this form of dance as a complete beginner with no experience in really any dancing or fitness and Corinne has been an excellent and patient teacher!
