I really liked this gym because most of the staff was very nice and the atmosphere was all women so I was very comfortable until last month... I got a letter in the mail 2 days before they announced their big merge with Max Fitness. Aside from the fact that now I have to attempt to work out in front of intimidating meat heads, I also have to drive across town to get there. When I asked if I could cancel my contract because of the unexpected move they said NO and that the only way I could cancel is if I live at least 15 miles away (I live 13 miles away) or have some sort of medical problem.

The gym itself is nice, small but nice. However, it is not simply $10 per month "no catches, no kidding" as the website says. Soon after you sign up you get a $40 equipment fee, which happens yearly after that. Then cancelling your "no contract" membership is a NIGHTMARE. You have to give them 30 days notice, but you can't just cancel in person. You have to get a piece of paper, write that you want to cancel, and mail it in. If they don't get the paper before 30 days in advance, you have to pay for another month. Freezing your account isn't what it sounds like either..you still pay during the time your account is frozen. And my final tip is that do not do one of the more expensive packages. I did the $20 per month package so that I could use group fitness. After trying to cancel and discovering that freezing didn't work, I decided to lower my package to the $10 per month. You can not do this unless you pay a $40 fee. Basically, I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I really enjoy attending this gym. The group fitness instructors are GREAT! They really make working out fun! I really enjoy Zumba with Karen and Lauren. The gym is always clean and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend joining this gym!

I absolutely love this gym. The group exercise classes are great and the instructors are phenomenal. If you are a Zumba fan I highly encourage you to try out their classes.
