I like that they have so many different equipment.
I like the 24 hrs
The people at the front desk are always nice and smile at you. So no matter how bad you may be feeling inside, they make you feel special.
The toilets are usually clean. The showers are always clean.
TV is usually interesting.
Location is ideal.
The gym is always clean
Free water
Sales on outfits are frequent.
Nice people.

I thoroughly enjoy working out at Germantown PF. It's very homely and the staff are very friendly. I've been here for the past 4-5 years and I'm comfortable working out in this place. Also, the price is very competitive and its within reach for all class of people, which is very good. The people who come here too are very good and come from a very good background, which adds up to the safety and a good working atmosphere. I got some very good friends, who are very well educated, have good manners, have great life values.On a whole, i love this place and i love to work out here.Thank you PF.

I've been coming here to the Germantown location for a few years on and off. I like the staff and the equipment but would rather see more free weights. That being said, I do appreciate the machines that they just got in as well. I've made lots of self improvement here and definitely like how it's not so busy in the late night. Definitely worth the $20 a month I spend to work out here, even as a beginner.

I came into the planet fitness in Germantown early yesterday morning and was instantly greeted by the amazing staff that was on duty. It was my first time in a gym and WOW was I amazed. I was captivated by the yellow and purple walls...my two favorite colors. I am curious as to where they purchase the paint as I would like to paint my own home these colors. Anyways, I was instructed to sign up for a fitness session with Matthew since I was new to the gym. I am very excited to design my own program with matthew next week! I am sure it will be awesome. I was taken on a tour of the facility by the knowledgeable staff member. They really know their stuff! Thanks planet fitness!

Really enjoy this gym. Staff is very nice and the new equipment looks great. I took a class with the fitness instructor Matt and he was really helpful. I really enjoyed taking the class with him and I definitely recommend the classes to new members.

Totally love the energy at this location. All of the staff is helpful and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this location over other gyms in the area.

Fantastic gym for a hard work out with no distractions. All staff members are extremely friendly and willing to help you especially Chris. The facility is clean and has everything needed for a great work out! My rating goes to 10/10 points:)

I've been a member for about a month. I go about 4-5 times per week, usually in the morning (8:00 AM to noon). This Planet Fitness is usually pretty "busy". There are always a good 30-40 people in there when I go -- which isn't bad, I can always get on machines and use the weights I want. I'm just mentioning that in case you like a very lonely gym - this is not the place. This gym isn't brand new and the building shows its wear. However, it's kept clean, the equipment is always in good working condition, and people tend to keep it very clean and wipe things down regularly. I do both cardio (treadmill running) and weights (machines + free weights) and they have everything I need to work out my entire body. There is also an area for stretching that is kinda' private and out of the way. They provide mats for floor exercises. Most people have their earbuds in and there isn't a lot of conversation going on between gym-goers. It's a great atmosphere for people who are serious about working out. Very few people, if any!, are there to look cute and pick up a date. :-)

Love this place! The managers are always out interacting with members and the staff are all so friendly! I have been to several gyms and none are as clean as Planet Fitness! There is always someone cleaning. Very happy with my decision to join here!

the gym is very clean and i love the staff, everyone is supper friendly and welcoming so it makes it much easier to work out even when i don't want to.

They need more Smith machines, yesterday. More ab machines. Someone decided to close off an entrance for a stretching area nobody uses so now parking is horrible. One of their rooms for a Body Enhancement machine is now closed and used for storage. They need more benches, leg presses and 45 lbs weights, again yesterday

There's nothing wrong and with the establishment. There's always someone in the circuit training area that isn't using the machines. It says that the area is monitored by the staff. The staff never monitors the area.

place not too bad., but be careful if you want to cancel the membership. They will keep charge you for several months after you called them for the cancellation!!! ridiculous

Bathrooms floors need better maintainace. Definitely need stretch bars equiptments.
None is found in the whole gym.

Love this place! My friend, Phil, and I love to come here during late hours of the night. Overnight staff is so friendly. They are also always cleaning which is much appreciated!

They're don't have the friendliest staffs but it's might br one of the best pf. Maybe due to lack of other gyms around here it differs greatly from stereo typical pf.
When I first started I didnt know about the whole deal with pf or lunking and I didnt even find out until 1 month into going when someone mentioned it to me.

Clean and comfortable atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and easy going. You can always go to an instructor when one is around and ask for instruction on how to use the equipment. Affordable price with the option to visit any other PF location with the upgraded membership. True judgement free zone. Just walk in and do your thing!

This place is the best planet fitness I've ever been to. I said something about the shower needing to be cleaned and they cleaned it right away, I respect that! The people that go to this gym are different then other planet fitness I've been to, they seem to be more respectfull and focused on their workout. How ever I don't recommend paying for the black membership, it's not worth it because their massage beds are always broken, one of the beds has been broken for over 5 months now, it does not have hot water, only cold water. Just pay 10 bucks a month and you will be happy. You lost 2 stares because ur beds are always broke.

Decent gym but staff is dryer than talking to robot. They're just there looking uninterested. I had to try harder to make me want to get a membership here and the fact that there's no other gym near by.

Pretty good gym. Lots of cardio equipment. Free weight dumbells top out at 60 lbs
For bench press /squats... Only Smith machines available. No free weights there.
I use it mainly since they have plenty of stair masters

Really dig this gym. Had everything i needed to get a good workout in. Also, apparent;y the manager and I have the same last name!? Thank you planet fitness for uniting me with my long lost brother hahaha

Love this gym! The staff are incredibly friendly. The trainer, Maikel, has great classes. He is very knowledgeable and kicks my @$$ every time. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone!!! Always super clean and inviting! Check it out!

Planet Fitness in Germantown is by far phenomenal. I've been a member here for some time now, and its well worth the money. Great facility, with an even better staff. I feel like family here, and I feel better about myself! Thank you, Planet Fitness

I've been a member of Lifetime Fitness, Gold's and Retro Fitness, and I can honestly say that this is the best gym I've been to. It's so convenient! I started coming here in 2013 and I've always loved the atmosphere. The staff are very friendly, and always help when you need them. The gym is clean and the members are respectful. Defenitily recommend to any newcomers!

Best gym around. Only $10 a month, the staff is friendly, the people are courteous. The machines are always clean and there is always a cleaning station within arms reach. I've been to other gyms where no one wipes anything down, the staff is rude and the machines are covered in sweat and debris- not at Planet Fitness! They take pride in their gym.

I love this gym and cannot recommend it highly enough for everyone to join. The gym is ALWAYS clean (including bathrooms and equipment) and the staff is both helpful and supportive. I have learned about the importance of regular exercise and since joining I have lost 54 pounds. I am encouraged by ALL the employees when I arrive for my daily workout, no matter when (day or night) I can always find parking. When someone such as I is on a journey back to good health, it is so important to hear the helpful suggestions from the trainers and staff, providing a "no intimidation" path to success. As I am getting ready to renew my membership, I hope this review will be helpful to anyone considering a gym, and urge them to take a serious look at this Planet Fitness in Germantown, MD. Not only have I lost weight, but I am no longer a candidate for knee surgery. Thank you to everyone associated with this gym, and particularly Ariel who always greets me with a smile and a "keep up the good work" when I arrive each day.

There's too much to write in here. Love the gym, love the staff! Seriously, I love coming here. This is a great place, with a great atmosphere.
